Group-IB and UAE Cyber Security Council partner to strengthen cyber defence

roup-IB has announced a strategic partnership with the UAE Cyber Security Council to strengthen threat

G intelligence, incident response and cybersecurity capabilities across the country.

Announced during GISEC Global 2026, the collaboration will focus on exchanging cyber threat intelligence, coordinating incident response activities and delivering technical training and workshops for cybersecurity professionals in the UAE. organisations identify and respond to emerging threats earlier as the UAE continues to expand its digital infrastructure and services.
Areas of cooperation are expected to include intelligence sharing around cyber risks, threat actors, malicious infrastructure, malware, attack techniques and indicators of compromise. The two organisations will also explore how intelligence about adversary behaviour and infrastructure can support pre-emptive defence and improve preparedness before attacks materialise.
The partnership combines the Council’ s national cybersecurity vision with Group-IB’ s threat intelligence, investigation expertise and predictive cybersecurity capabilities. It is intended to help
Cybersecurity skills development will form another part of the partnership. Group-IB and the Council plan to collaborate on specialised training, technical workshops, educational materials and joint working groups aimed at developing national cybersecurity talent and strengthening practical readiness.
The two organisations also intend to explore establishing a joint Innovation Centre of Excellence in the UAE.
The proposed centre would provide a platform for cybersecurity innovation, knowledge exchange and capability development, combining Group-IB’ s global expertise and regional threat intelligence with the Council’ s national cybersecurity strategy.

Next-Gen SIEM, bringing identity and privilege intelligence into the Falcon platform.
The integrations are designed to correlate identity relationships and privilege exposure across human, non-human and AI agent identities with CrowdStrike threat telemetry. This gives joint customers additional context around privilege risk and threat activity to support faster investigation and response.
The move comes as compromised legitimate credentials increasingly provide attackers with a route into enterprise environments. BeyondTrust Phantom Labs research found that approximately 75 % of modern attack paths exploit identity relationships rather than relying solely on software vulnerabilities.
David Manks, Vice President, Strategic Alliances at BeyondTrust
“ Attackers increasingly exploit legitimate identities and privileges to move through enterprise environments, making identity context critical to understanding and responding to threats,” said David Manks, Vice President, Strategic Alliances at BeyondTrust.“ By bringing BeyondTrust’ s identity and privilege intelligence into CrowdStrike Falcon, joint customers can connect privilege risk with threat activity, bringing identity threat prevention and detection together to accelerate investigation and response.”
The integrations connect several BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform solutions with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.
The integrations build on BeyondTrust’ s broader privilegecentric identity security strategy, which focuses on identifying and addressing privilege risks across human and non-human identities, workloads and AI agents.
