du and QuantumGate partner to advance post-quantum security in UAE
u has announced a strategic collaboration with QuantumGate to bring post-quantum security capabilities d to du Tech’ s National Hypercloud, strengthening cyber resilience for government and critical entities across the UAE.
Announced at GISEC Global, the collaboration will see QuantumGate’ s quantum-safe technology deployed on du Tech’ s National Hypercloud. The approach will enable advanced cybersecurity capabilities to be delivered from infrastructure within the UAE, while keeping sensitive data, encryption keys and cryptographic control under national control. du will commercialise QuantumGate’ s technology to UAE government entities, with QuantumGate providing post-quantum expertise and technical enablement.
The collaboration combines national infrastructure through du Tech’ s National Hypercloud, QuantumGate’ s post-quantum cryptographic capabilities and cybersecurity oversight from the UAE Cyber Security Council.
His Excellency Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government and Chairman of the UAE Cyber Security Council, said:“ Preparing for the post-quantum era is an important part of strengthening the UAE’ s long-term cyber resilience.”
Jasim Al Awadi, Chief ICT Officer of du, said the collaboration would create a secure foundation for post-quantum security while keeping critical data, keys and cryptographic control within the UAE.
The partnership is designed to help government and critical entities prepare for emerging quantum computing risks to existing public-key cryptography while supporting the UAE’ s broader digital transformation and cybersecurity ambitions.
DESC and Microsoft strengthen Zero Trust oversight across Dubai Government
ubai Electronic Security Center( DESC) and Microsoft have announced a collaboration providing DESC with
D a real-time view of the cybersecurity posture of Dubai Government entities.
Announced at GISEC Global 2026, the collaboration has resulted in a purpose-built Zero Trust assurance dashboard designed to replace periodic, self-reported assessments with continuously updated security information.
The dashboard was co-developed by DESC and Microsoft and measures participating entities against the Dubai Information Security Regulation( ISR), which establishes minimum information security requirements across 13 domains. verified and how it can be addressed. Guidance can also be exported in Arabic and English.
Following the pilot phase, two Dubai Government entities have been onboarded, with the initiative being rolled out to more than 80 additional entities across the Emirate.
The collaboration builds on existing work between the two organisations. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 have previously been certified against DESC’ s Cloud Service Provider Security Standard.
Using Microsoft security signals already available within participating entities, the dashboard provides evidence against ISR controls, covering areas including risky identities, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, privileged access, device compliance, active incidents and vulnerabilities.
The dashboard includes 37 finding types, each providing IT teams with information about the issue, its significance, where it can be
